Jessica Dayle Matchett - Bassoon Ms. Matchett began her studies in bassoon in 1990 after being inspired by an outreach chamber music performance. She went on to pursue her studies as a recipient of the Chancellor’s Art Award at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and graduated with honors in 2000. An active freelancer in the greater Boston area, she teaches at Boston College and the Brockton Saturday Conservatory program and continues to study privately in New York. Ms. Matchett is currently employed by the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA where she handles among other responsibilities community outreach and career services. Photo: Ken Lacouture
