These works were composed specifically for Erik Lindgren's ensemble, Birdsongs of the Mesozoic. Instrumentation for this quartet contains woodwinds (saxophones or flute), electric guitar, piano, synthesizer, and often sequenced and/or acoustic percussion. It should be noted that any of these works can be arranged for a different combination of instruments.
